Hibiclens is a antimicrobial, antiseptic skin cleanser that is made with 4% chlorhexidine gluconate and has bactericidal properties. It is effective against staph and will continue to kill bacteria for up to 6 hours after use. This product is similar to topical Nolvasan and can be used to prevent cross contamination from exposure to feces and feces related infections. Since baby dragons are constantly running through poo, we use this to clean our hands and animals.
To use on dragons, use approximately a teaspoon in 2 to 4 ounces of clean water. Apply with a soft brush avoiding the head, mouth and eyes. Do not immerse, just apply topically. Rinse and dry.
